At CIC Weekday Preschool, our goal is to offer a Christian-based learning center for families with three, four and five year olds. We provide a preschool education that enriches children spiritually, intellectually, physically and socially. We encourage each child to develop a never-ending love of learning. Class Requirements

A child must turn 3 on or before August 31 of the present school year to be considered for a 3-year old class.

A child must turn 4 on or before August 31 of the present school year to be considered for a 4-year old class.

A child must turn 5 on or before December 31 of the present school year to be considered for the TK class. 

All children must be toilet trained. It must be an independent task.  Parents must turn in all forms, including the medical form, prior to the first day of school.

Days and hours of classes

All classes run Sept through May from 9:05 am to 1:00 pm. 4 year old classes and TK class meet on M-T-W-Th. Three year old classes meet on T-W-Th.
 

Tuition for 2010/2011 is $230 per month, with no activity fees for 4 year olds and TK class. $190 per month, with no activity fees for 3 year olds. Tuition payments are to be made one month in advance with the first payment due August 15th. After this first payment, tuition is due on or before the 10th of each month starting in September and ending in April. [back to top]
 
 
 

Enrollment.  Registration for church members, currently enrolled children/ siblings, or siblings of former students will begin on January 26th, 2010. On February 2nd, 2010 all available spaces will be open for enrollment to the public. Tours are available upon request. Parents must register in person and complete a registration form. (Downloadable registration form available at bottom of page). A waiting list will be maintained throughout the year but is not ongoing from year to year. Registration. The registration fee is $75.00. All registration checks will be held until placement of students occurs during the third week of February.  If a child is placed, notification will be made and the check will be cashed.  If the child is on the waiting list, the check will be returned. Once a child has been placed, a check will be due. Once enrollment is accepted the registration fee is non-refundable. [back to top]

  
 
 

School Closings.  The preschool's observation of holidays, teacher workdays and inclement weather closings, follows that of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Schools. Additionally, The preschool will be closed on Election Day in order to maintain the best security for the children since our church is used as a polling center.  [back to top]
   
 
 

Preschool News
 
 

We are participating in the Together in Education Program with Harris Teeter again this year. Everyone who would like to help the preschool must re-link their VIC card to 5638.  Harris Teeter donated money based on the number of HT items purchased and the number of participants.  This is an easy way to help us out and is greatly appreciated.
